The Caves of Yabir is an outdoor experience for anyone:

A) looking for a challenge
B) eager to get in touch with their adventurous side

A truly immersive experience, this full-day hike will take you through narrow canyons, some moderate climbing, and long, steep ascents.

Trekking through the region’s giant walled canyons will offer some stunning views for you to stop and admire along the way. You may even get the chance to observe some of the environment’s flora and fauna, including the occasional hornet nests and mouse-tailed bats. At the top of your ascent, you will be rewarded with grand, yawning caves and their unique limestone formations, perfect for exploring.

1-2 liters of water (DEC – MAR) | 2-3 liters of water (for the rest of the months).
Salted snacks and/or fruit for a few hours of hiking with a little extra.
Hiking boots or trainers with good grip/not worn out.
Shorts or comfortable hiking pants/leggings.
T-shirt light pullover for sun protection/warmth in the morning/evening.
Trekking poles (optional to help with balance or mitigate fatigue).

Hike Information:

Trail Type: Long loop trail with exposure to sun.
Steady ascent, exposure to heights, loose rocks, light bouldering, some climbing at points, length of the trail, hazardous species.
Difficulty Adjustment: Beginners add 2, Experienced hikers subtract 2 to difficulty.
